The new Cadillac OHV V8 was the big news for 1949. This 331 cu in (5.4 L) engine produced 160 hp. This is a driver quality car.The 1949 model was the last year that Cadillac had a two-piece windshield. It was, however, the second year of the famous tail fins that would continue through the 1964 model.

Our car was completely restored. Engine, its componants and transmission rebuilt. The car was painted, new glass, new correct interior and new rubber. Chrome was replated with the exception of the rear door chrome spears that was lost by the plater. New wiring harness, taillight lenses and new coker tires. New plastis turn signal and shift knobs.
